This visibility allowed EFFIA to go further by launching an internal safety challenge: every month, intervention progress is reviewed, and the team with the most progress earns bonus points. At the end of the year, the winning team receives a prize: a chocolate fire extinguisher, chosen by EFFIA as a creative nod to the subject of safety.

For the past two years, EFFIA has held its safety committee meetings entirely paperless: Security Register documents are projected on screen for inspectors to review the safety status of the facility in question. The committee chair then signs digitally, using Lionel Cornet's computer or a smartphone.
