Team profile: Alex, developer at Deemply

Today, we’re featuring a new team member. We’ve chosen to introduce you to one of our developers: Alex. In the following lines, you’ll discover a bit about his personal history and his professional path.

Alex’s Professional Journey

Alex has always been passionate about science and mathematics, excelling in both subjects throughout school. This led him to pursue a career in healthcare system digitization in his native Romania after high school. At 19, he spent two years working as a technician. After those two years, he sought a change of scenery and moved to Bucharest to explore new opportunities. He joined Medavante, where he handled customer service, communicating entirely in English. Given the company’s sector, he remained closely connected to science and mathematics.

After two years in that role, he decided to shift his career path and enrolled in a preparatory program to enter the technical department of a science university. He succeeded and was accepted. After his first year, he left Romania to join his family, who had been living in France for five years. It was 2018, and he wanted to see what the country had to offer professionally and whether life in France near his family would meet his expectations.

Alex began learning French and enrolled in a web development course. After several months, he realized the program didn't cover everything needed for the profession. He decided to start working in the restaurant industry, with the goal of perfecting his French during that time.

Meanwhile, the idea of becoming a developer never left him. He enrolled in a new program at ENI and left his restaurant job to focus on the eight-month curriculum (six months of training and a two-month internship).

At the end of the program, he began searching for a web developer position and joined us in October 2021.

His resume reached Jérôme through someone who had posted an ad on a developer job group. The two founders of Deemply decided to give him a chance, and Alex’s journey with us began.

Who is he in his personal life?

He is passionate about drawing, particularly architectural sketches. His love for science and technology continues to drive him.

He enjoys winter sports, which bring back memories of spending time at his grandparents' home in the mountains as a child. Alex is very close to his family.

As for sports, he enjoys basketball, and like many of us, he loves to travel.

Alex is a quiet member of the team, but he is deeply committed to his work. He cares about the well-being of others and is always ready to help find a solution when challenges arise.

What he appreciates about Deemply is the atmosphere, as well as the product we offer our clients. The pure code behind the solution is a great challenge for the team, as the techniques used are highly advanced and the requirements demand thoughtful reflection to provide the right solution.

The management style implemented by Alban allows him to communicate freely with all team members, which helps everyone learn and grow on a daily basis.

We hope this profile has helped you learn a little more about our developer, Alex.
